FIRST THURSDAY LATE HOURS ELIMINATED
Cheshire Town Hall offices will no longer remain open late on the First Thursday of each month, as of July 1, 2009. Public traffic was minimal for these evening hours, and their elimination was a cost-saving measure that was implemented as part of the adopted Fiscal Year 2009-2010 General Operating Budget.
The Town Hall regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Town Hall offices are open during those hours, with the exception of the Youth and Social Services Department, which is available after 3:00 p.m. by appointment only, and the Elections office which is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. The Tax Collector’s office is open for extended hours on tax deadline days. Business hours for all Town offices are available on the individal department pages on this website.
