Tax appeal forms due February 20, 2012.

The Board of Assessment Appeals determines whether adjustments on assessments under appeal are warranted, and will be hearing appeals for the 2010 Supplemental Motor Vehicle and October 2011 Grand List business personal property and real estate assessments in March 2012.  By law, appellants must submit a written application to the Board of Assessment Appeals (84 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410) on or before February 20, 2012 in order to appeal.  Click here to download the application for a petition for appeal.  These applications are also available in the Assessor’s Office as of February 1, 2012.
