Fingerprinting Services: 

All Cheshire residents and individuals employed by, or seeking employment with, a business in the Town of Cheshire, may come to the Cheshire Police Department and have their fingerprints taken.  Our hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on any non-holiday. There is a $5.00 fee for fingerprinting services and valid photo identification is required. Each session takes approximately 15-20 minutes and the $5.00 fee will be waived for Pistol Permit applications and Child I.D. fingerprinting services.

 

Pistol Permit Applicants:

Fingerprints will only be taken when a complete application packet is ready to be turned in.

 

Child Safety Seat Inspections:

Contact Officer Kevin Zaksewicz at (203) 271-5541 to schedule an appointment and please arrange to bring your child and all safety seat instructions to the inspection.

Rape Aggression Defense Class (R.A.D.)

The Rape Aggression Defense System, or "RAD" is a program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.
