Steve Horvath Memorial
No Rain Date
No fishing allowed until 10:00AM. Fishing will take place from 10:00-11:30AM in the upper pond. The fishing derby will end at 11:30AM with a presentation of trophies and certificates. Prizes will be awarded for the largest fish in 3 age categories: 6 & under, 7-11 and 12-16. Each angler who catches a fish will earn a certificate. Come join the fun! Senior citizens are invited to bring their grandchildren or just help out. Everyone must supply their own fishing rods, buckets, bait, etc. Held at Mixville Recreation Area, upper pond only. No one will be allowed to fish off the sandy beach area.

Flying open to kite enthusiasts who are young at heart!
Time: 10:00-11:00 AM
Where: Bartlem Park near the brown buildings.
Children will be entered into a free raffle.

Open to All Ages
Time: 10:00-12:00 PM
Where: Bartlem Park
Please bring a nonperishable food item
to be donated to the Cheshire Food Pantry.
Have you ever wanted to board one of those huge trucks? Your chance has arrived!
This event is made possible due to the generosity of local companies and Cheshire Town Agencies. You may see fire trucks, garbage trucks, dump trucks, pay loader, rescue trucks, law enforcement vehicles and more. There will be a free raffle of toy trucks at 11:15AM.
