Birthday Parties

Having a party at the pool is a great way to spend a weekend afternoon.  Two hours of fun and enjoyment for your birthday child and their guests!  Plus, with two types of parties the Cheshire Community Pool can cater to any age group; and with a maximum party size of 25 swimmers no one will be left out.  For all parties we gladly reserve two picnic tables for your use during the party.  If you are interested in scheduling a party at the Community Pool, contact the pool at (203) 271-3208.

Party Type #1:  Open Swim

This party is exactly that: Open Swimming.  Your party will have access to the entire facility for the duration of the party, along with the general public.  An Open Swim Party has free access to the pool for the duration of the party.

Party Type #2:  Organized Games

This party is geared towards our younger party guests.  Offered with 1 or 2 lifeguards depending on party size, your pool time will be filled with games and smiles.  The party’s age range will dictate games played and location in the water.  Also, for parties with guests requiring life-vests the lifeguards in the party will assume the role of a required parent, but only for the hour the party is in the water.  An Organized Game Party structured and is scheduled as follows:

  • First 15 minutes of party guests arrive / change / shower and wait for lifeguards at picnic tables
  • Next hour is time in the designated area of the pool playing games with lifeguards
  • Last 45 minutes is used for food / cake / presents and if time permits open swim with general public.

Party Days and Times:

All birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays.  Parties are 2 hours long with start times at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
