COLLECTOR OF REVENUE
The function of the revenue collector is to collect sufficient funds to finance the current year’s operating budget. In addition to real estate taxes, the Collector of Revenue is responsible for collecting motor vehicle taxes, personal property taxes, sewer use charges and sewer and water assessments.
Office Hours are 8:30 - 4:00 daily. The offices are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. In addition to normal office hours the Tax Office remains open until 6:00 p.m. on local tax deadline days (August 1st and February 1st). For your convenience the Tax Office remains open until 7:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.
