TOWN CLERK

The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for recording, maintaining and preserving land records, maps, vital statistics and other municipal records, including meeting minutes of all official boards, commissions and committees, for access by the public.

The Town Clerk’s Office issues the following:

Absentee ballots and applications

Burial and cremation permits

Certified copies of Land Records and Maps

Certified copies of vital records  (Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates)
Copies of recorded military discharge papers

Dog licenses
Hunting and Fishing licenses
Marriage licenses
Liquor permits ($2.00 fee to file with Town Clerk)

Trade Name certificates and Trade Name Certificate Form
Zoning Regulations Books and Maps

 

The Town Clerk's office also offers Notary Public services.
