The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for recording, maintaining and preserving land records, maps, vital statistics and other municipal records, including meeting minutes of all official boards, commissions and committees, for access by the public.

Land Records are available online; click here. All indexes and maps are online and document images are visible back to June 26, 1989.
Land record recordings are accepted by mail and by eRecording. Transfer deeds only accepted electronically if no conveyance is due (signed OP-236 must be included).

The Town Clerk's Office issues the following:
Public Act 17-2 Sec. 157. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Any local board of education shall file forthwith a signed copy of any contract for administrative personnel with the town clerk, which town clerk shall post a copy of any such contract on the town's Internet web site. Any regional board of education shall file a copy of any such contract with the town clerk in each member town, which town clerk shall post a copy of any such contract on the town's Internet web site. Effective October 2017
