HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE

  • Register in person at the Registrars of Voters’ office or the Town Clerk’s office at 84 South Main Street, at the Cheshire Public Library at 104 Main Street, or at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Register by mail by sending a completed registration card (which can also be obtained through the locations above) to the Registrars of Voters, 84 South Main St., Cheshire, CT 06410. 

You must be a registered voter in Cheshire in order to vote in Cheshire, whether in person or by absentee ballot.  For the convenience of our residents, the Registrars of Voters hold special registration sessions throughout the year.  The date, time and location of these sessions will be posted here.

 


HOW, WHEN AND WHERE TO VOTE

The next general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012.  Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  To determine where you vote, please check the Districts and Poll Locations.  Please watch this website for more information on this upcoming election, and for election results. 

 

A Democratic and Republican Primary for Federal and State offices will be held on August 14, 2012.
