Student Math Mastery Club - Third Grade Registration - Spring 2012
Your child is invited to participate in Cheshire Youth Services' Student Math Mastery Club. This program is a partnership between 3rd graders and high school students to promote confidence and ability, while strengthing math skills. Please see the attached information and registration. Please note there is very limited space available (only 15 students) for this program, so please send your registration form and payment in early. First space is given to students who have NOT previously participated in the program.
Youth Literacy Program - First Grade Registration - Spring 2012
Your child is invited to participate in Cheshire Youth Services' Student Youth literacy Program. This program is designed to promote reading among students in first grade through working one-on-one with a high school mentor, who will help to demonstrate the importance of reading and the part that literacy will play in their lives as they get older. Please see the attached information and registration. Please note there is very limited space available (only 20 students) for this program, so please send your registration form and payment in early. First space is given to students who have NOT previously participated in the program.

PeaceJam - Youth In Action Council
Do you want to make a difference in your community? Do you enjoy helping other people and volunteering? Then you're invited to participate in Cheshire Youth Services' 2011 Cheshire PeaceJam - Youth in Action Council. This is your chance to express your creative ideas and giving nature at every meeting & service project we have! Please see the attached information and member application.

Youth Employment Services - YES
Are you in need of some part-time help? If your answer is yes, then you should look into Youth Employment Services (YES). The YES program operates in the fashion of many job bank programs throughout the nation. YES matches middle and high school students seeing work, with employers and homeowners needing assistance. The YES database has over 100 youths seeking employment in such areas of yardwork, snow shoveling, housework, and babysitting. If you are interested in hiring a YES youth, please contact Cheshire Youth Services at 271-6690 or e-mail at cheshire youthservices@cheshirect.org. A flyer/registration form is attached for students interested in becoming a member of the YES program.
