YOUTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES
HOURS: Youth and Social Services office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Staff is available after 3:00 p.m. by appointment only. Call 271-6690 to make an appointment.
Youth and Social Services provides services directly to individuals or families experiencing difficulty in meeting their basic human needs:
1. for physical survival (food, shelter, clothing, maintenance of minimum income),
2. for adequate preparation for and help in sustaining gainful employment (employment and training programs, child and adult day care),
3. for social support and interaction, especially in time of personal or family crisis (social services, counseling services),
4. for assistance in overcoming specific pathologies (health, mental health, and substance abuse), and
5. for help in gaining access to available, appropriate services (information and referral transportation).
