After careful consideration, we are sad to announce that we will not be holding a winter 2020-2021 basketball season due to COVID-19 concerns and gym restrictions. Many factors went into this difficult decision and we appreciate your patience while we deliberated. The health and safety of our athletes, families and league officials ultimately drove this decision. We have already begun working on ways to make our next season bigger and better than ever and can't wait to unveil our improvements!Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. Let's brighten up Cheshire this December! Residents are encouraged to decorate your yard, front door, whole home or even just a window. Please illuminate your display during the evenings from December 1 - December 31 for all to enjoy. During the week of December 6-12 Parks and Recreation staff will drive around to registered households to judge the displays. Winners will be announced on December 15 and will receive a lawn sign to celebrate their victory! Categories are Window/Door Display, Yard Display, and Winter Wonderland.
This is a fun, free event for all believers. We've got the connection you need! For two nights, we will have elves working at the Youth Center (that's why the caller ID will say Town of Cheshire) to patch calls from your child direct to the North Pole! An elf will call the number you request and once the elf has your child on the phone, he or she will connect your child direct to Santa! We've only been able to arrange two brief sessions with Santa, so be sure to register early to guarantee your child's call with the big guy himself! Unfortunately, call backs cannot be arranged so be sure to answer all calls during the night you select.
