Street Excavation Permit Procedures

Street Excavation Permit Application

Permit applications can be downloaded, filled out, and dropped off, sent via fax, or mailed. Incomplete applications will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant with missing information noted.

Street Excavation Bond

(Contractors will be responsible to post required Certificates of Insurance and a Town of Cheshire Bond in the amount of $3,000.00 before a permit will be issued in accordance with Section 14-1(F)(2) of the Cheshire Code of Ordinances.)  NOTE: Print Bond on Legal sized paper or choose "Fit to Page" as a print option.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreements

TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS, STREET MAPS, AND SEWER AS-BUILT MAPS

Topographic maps, street maps and sewer as-built maps are available for purchase in the Public Works Department. Topographic maps are $12.00 each. Street maps are $12.00 each. Sewer as-built maps are $7.50 each.
